Hon’ble Minister for Medical and Health, Shri Rajendra Rathore inaugurates 3 OHSRs constructed under RUIDP in Churu town

Hon’ble Minister of Medical and Health Shri Rajendra Rathore inaugurated 3 OHSRs (Over-Head Service Reservoirs) constructed under RUIDP in the Churu district. The inauguration ceremony was organized in three locations at Agrasen Nagar, Garh Parishar and behind Goyanka School. Addressing a public gathering, he said, “The newly constructed water tanks will insure supply of safe drinking water with pressure to the residents of Churu and water supply free from fluoride”. The attendees to this function included, Chair-person, Nagar Parishad Shri Vijay Sharma, Zila Pramukh Shri Harlal Saaran, Parshads of the Wards and other other eminent persons from various fields. “RUIDP is making 4 more such OHSRs in Churu town”, the minister said.
The new assets will benefit around 42000 population and will help improve drinking water supply to the residents of the town. The colonies benefitting from these water reservoirs includes Agrasen Nagar, Parshuram Colony, Om Colony, Mangla Colony, Shiv Colony, Behind Garh, Jain Market, Mochiwada, Harijan Basti, Chandni Chowk, Daabla Road, Aguna Mohalla, Bandiya Bas, Jahri Sagar, Bhaiji Chowk, Subhash Chowk, Safed Ghantaghar, Jhariya Mori and Pratibha Nagar. The OHSRs have been constructed by RUIDP under it’s ongoing project RUSDIP in the 15 project towns in Rajasthan.
