Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most renowned national park in Northern India. The park is located in the Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, which is about 130 km from Jaipur. Being considered as one of the famous and former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, today the Ranthambore National Park terrain is major wildlife tourist attraction spot that has pulled the attention of many wildlife photographers and lovers in this destination.

Sawai Madhopur railway station (Sawai Madhopur Junction – SWM) is a major railway station of Mumbai-Kota-New Delhi route on the West Central railway network. Based on the income from passengers, the Indian Railways classifies this station as 'A' category out of seven categories; A1, A, B, C, D, E and F.

It is an important halt for all trains that are bound for JaipurMumbai & Delhi. Trains that are bound for Jaipur reverse direction & switch over to diesel traction here

  • The Ranthambore Ganesh ji is very old temple on the palace of Ranthambore fort. It is very heart touch place for devotee and visitors.  Ranthambore Ganesh Temple  dedicated to LordGanesha is located in the fort of Ranthambore, about 12 kms from Sawai Madhopur

Ranthambore Fort lies within the Ranthambore National Park, near the town of Sawai Madhopur, the park being the former hunting grounds of the Maharajahs of Jaipur until the time of India's Independence.. It is a formidable fort having been a focal point of the historical developments of Rajasthan. The fort is known for the glory and valor of Hammir dev of the Chauhan dynasty.In 2013, at the 37th session of the World Heritage Committee held in Phnom PenhCambodia, Ranthambore Fort, along with 5 other forts of Rajasthan, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan.

Kala Gaura Bhairav Temple in Sawai Madhopur is one example of the temples in the city that are known for their uniqueness. Established in the heart of the city by slicing a hillock, Kala Gaura Bhairav Temple in Sawai Madhopur is one of the few temples in the country that practices tantrik kriyas. The uniqueness of this temple lies in the fact that the idols of Bhairav that are generally kept at the entrance in most of the temples across the country are kept inside the temple as the main deity at Kala Gaura Bhairav Temple in Sawai Madhopur. This temple mainly belongs to two Bhairav brothers namely Kala Bhairav and Gaura Bhairav whose idols are kept inside the main area of the temple. Other idols in the temples belong to Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva and goddess Durga. The idol of Lord Ganesha on way to the main temple area is worth seeing
