Municipal Board
The Department of local self Government is the controlling Department of all municipalities for all administrative purposes. It also performs monitoring and co-ordination function at the state level for all municipal bodies of the state.

Nagar Palika Nimbahera
Nimbahera was named after the local river Nimba. However, Nimbahera was a district in the princely state of Tonk (Princely State) before independence, and later it was merged into the Chittorgarh District of the Indian state of Rajasthan.
